| To reveal the potential impact of polyolefin (PO) agricultural film aging on the organic contaminant profile, non-targeted screening by liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS) was employed for tiered identification and comparative analysis of pristine and photo-aged PO films. A total of 86 candidate compounds at L2 confidence level were obtained, comprising 79 in the pristine films, 46 in the aged films, and 39 shared. The majority were detected in positive ion mode. These candidates were primarily attributed to phthalate plasticizers and their metabolites, surfactants, quaternary ammonium compounds, amide slip agents, and stabilizers such as UV absorbers/antioxidants. Significant alterations were observed in both the number and category composition of detected compounds after aging, suggesting that aging may facilitate additive migration/release and transformation. These findings provide a basis for assessing the release and transformation behavior of additives during agricultural film aging and their associated potential risks. |
